Using the Sandwich Maker
A sandwich maker is a handy appliance in our kitchen; it is nothing more than a horizontal toaster.
In the sandwich maker, we can prepare a sandwich without spilling the ingredients.
The sandwich maker consists of two plates with slits in which the bread is placed.
Both plates are heated through electrical resistances and toast the bread on both sides.
The plates are made of non-stick material.
There is a trick so that the edges of the bread are not burned. Take a little butter and spread it around the edges of the slice. In this way, the surface will be covered, and the heat will not directly affect the bread, so it will not burn. Besides, it will give the sandwich a good taste and will remain equally healthy because the amount of butter required to do this is minimal.
You can usually prepare two sandwiches.
Like any appliance, washing, and maintenance of the sandwich maker is necessary. It is crucial once the food is prepared, and the sandwich maker is cold to clean the plates with a sponge and a little soap, then dry them with a towel.
If the plates can be disassembled, wash them in the sink or the dishwasher and once dried, put them back in place.
