Tips to using an electric grill
Part of the electrical appliances in many homes is the electric grill. Using this appliance, you can prepare many recipes.
Some things must be taken into account to have a great barbecue in an electric grill.
1) Heat the grill to the maximum. The grill must be heated to its maximum point for 15 minutes, depending on the cut that is going to be prepared, so is the temperature. To make a roast on the electric grill, you should think about lean cuts and that the cooking does not last more than 40 minutes. If you put the meat cut on a cold grill, it will be overcooked.
2) Avoid cuts with a lot of fat. Red or white lean meats can be cooked; the recommendation is that they have no more than 10% fat.
3) Do not turn the meat many times. It is recommended when cooking on the electric grill, that you do not turn the meat many times, giving two turns is the best, and do not use skewers or forks.
4) Serving size. On an electric grill, you can cook pieces of meat from 600 grams to 1 kilo. Seal it on both sides and then portion it to serve it. If what is wanted is speed, it is better to portion it before cooking it, portions of 2 centimeters wide, it is important to be checking the meat so that it does not dry out.
5) Clean grill. Temper the grill and pour hot water on it, then wash normally with sponge and soap. A bit of very useful advice for after washing it is to soak a cloth in cooking oil and pass it over the iron so that it maintains its non-stick condition.
