What type of detergent should I use?
It depends on the type of stains and the type of fabric
The way in which clothes are washed has changed in recent years. Each time we have more specialized products that save a lot of time and effort. However, one of the basic products is detergent. But the use of the right one, not only will provide the optimal cleaning results but it can also make a difference in keeping the clothes in good condition.
Type of clothing:
For the white clothes or the garments elaborated with more resistant materials, without a doubt the powder detergent is the ideal one. This is not recommended for washing delicate or colored clothing. It is interesting to know that if this type of detergent is used with water at high temperature; it will react like a bleach. Delicate, dark or colored clothing needs a liquid detergent because it is softer. It dissolves quickly in the water, which prevents traces of soap in the garments. When using this detergent clothes should be washed with water at low temperature, just because it does not need to dissolve. In addition, the liquid detergent is recommended more for washing the babies clothes, the reason is that it leaves no residue on the garments and therefore is unlikely to irritate skin.
Type of stains:
If you want to eliminate traces of dirt, grass, and dust, the best option is to use detergent powder. The reason is that thanks to the friction of the washing machine or, the action of scrubbing by hand, this type of detergent causes the thick particles of the soap to push the dirt out of the fabric. If the problem is stains from sauces, makeup, wine or oil, it is better to use liquid detergent. This easily mixes with water, penetrates more efficiently into the fibers of clothing.
