The best and healthiest way to start the day is with juice.
Two appliances that are used to prepare juices – Sometimes they get confused!
There are juice extractors and juicers, and confusion can arise when we go to buy either.
Differences between the two devices and characteristics of each
One is for preparing fruit juices and the other for healthy vegetable juices.
With both, we can prepare healthy juices to start the day.
The main difference between the extractor and the juicer is that with the extractor you can extract the juice of almost any fruit and vegetable and pulp too, (there are also cold extractors which do not generate heat, and that avoids the fruits or vegetables from getting oxidized) and the juicer is usually for citrus juice; orange, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine etc.
1) Juice extractors
–The single shaft extractors: what they do is “chew” the vegetables and extract the juice, the speed at which it works, is slow, keeping the nutrients in the final product. One of the disadvantages is that we have to cut the vegetables into small pieces because the mouth they are fed into is small.
–The extractors by crushing: the speed of this extractor is slow to be able to cut vegetables and fruits into small pieces and be able to squeeze the juice with 100% of the nutrients.
–Extractor by centrifugation: this extractor is fast, and has a wide mouth that you can put fruits and vegetables without cutting them. It processes them with rapid rotational movement and produces heat, which causes the nutritional value to be lost.
2) Juice juicer
–Manual juicers: in these, you have to apply your strength to extract the juice, you do not get a lot of juice, and it is not efficient.
–Electric juicers: these are often found in household kitchens, as they are easy to use and wash.
It has two blade directions, which make it easy to squeeze the juice and apply little force.
