There are many delicious things you can do with this small blender. For example, you can do salsa, pesto, smoothies, pancake batter, tomato sauce, mayonnaise, cheese sauce, dips, ice cream, mousse, spreads, soup, and the list goes on and on.
Here is an example of how to make an easy and tasty pesto:
Ingredients:
- basil leaves
- garlic
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
- arugula, parsley, cilantro, or spinach (optional)
Just toss some fresh basil leaves, garlic, salt, and pepper into a tall dish (plastic beaker) and pour in a bit of olive oil. Blend with the immersion blender (use an up-down-up-down motion) until you have a smooth pesto. If you wish, add arugula, parsley, cilantro, or even spinach for the basil to give your hand blender pesto a fun twist.
