Recommendations for cleaning the dryer
Like all electric appliances that we have in our home, the clothes dryer requires cleaning the components, internal and external, for proper operation.
1) Water Tank: this tank collects the water that comes out of the garments that are dried. It must be emptied after each use so that it does not accumulate debris, and causes improper operation.
2) Humidity Sensor: this is in charge of detecting the humidity that the clothes have, and thus to program the cycle. It is essential to clean it at least once a week.
3) Filter: this prevents dust from entering the inner ducts of this appliance and damaging it. Thus, cleaning is essential to reduce drying cycles, the energy consumed, and the life of the dryer will be higher.
4) Interior: this refers to the cleaning of the drum of the dryer, it is the most critical part, and therefore it must be immaculate so that the garments will dry well. To clean it you need a cloth with soap or vinegar and pass it all over the surface to remove the dirt, then let it dry.
5) Condenser: this is a fundamental part of condensation for dryers, and it is essential to clean it 1 or 2 times a year.
6) Exterior: even if it does not affect the flow of the dryer, it is vital to keep it clean of dust and dirt. To clean it, wipe it with a little soap and then dry it with a dry cloth.
