Make it easier during the holidays!
Thanksgiving is approaching, and we want to facilitate your work.
Do you know how to load your dishwasher properly?
Tips for correctly loading the dishwasher
- Before putting the plates and cutlery in the dishwasher, it is essential to remove any food remaining on them ( take advantage of the paper napkins that have been used during the meal to remove the remains of food or sauces that could be removed from the dish).
- It is also advisable to rinse the dishes slightly. The rinsing is essential if we have to wait until the next meal to fill the dishwasher, as this will avoid causing unpleasant odors.
- When it comes to washing cans or brand new dishes, remove any label they have, since they can detach and end up clogging the filter during washing.
- Place the dishes in such a way that avoids touching others. Although it is obvious, the pots must be placed upside down (so that water does not accumulate).
- Take special care with glasses and other delicate objects, and avoid washing utensils with wooden handles, as this deteriorates them.
- Plastic containers or similar should always be placed in the basket above where there is less heat, keeping them from melting or changing shapes.
- For saving both water and energy, operate the dishwasher only when it is full.
