Why should we clean our fridge?

We store a lot of food in the refrigerator such as meat, fruits, vegetables, dairy, and others, some uncooked and cooked, and they can produce bacteria, germs, and mold. So we must keep clean both the inside and outside of the refrigerator.

  1. To start cleaning the refrigerator, you must disconnect the electrical power, take out everything in the fridge and the shelves, drawers and all moving parts, do not worry that the food will break down because, in reality, it takes only a few minutes to clean.
  2. Prepare a soapy solution in a bowl with water and a few drops of detergent, submerge the sponge, drain it a little and begin to clean the inner walls of the refrigerator. (The cold in the refrigerator will not allow the sponge to foam, but it will clean the surfaces). Rinse and repeat the process especially where there are stains, then dry with the cloth.
  3. If the refrigerator has fixed shelves that can not be removed, clean them with a sponge and then dry with the towel.
