Types of central air conditioning
There are several types of air conditioning that we can use in our home. The most common ones used are window and split; these are used to maintain the temperature in small areas.
There is another system of air conditioning, central air conditioning, which is used for large areas such as restaurants, or a large area in your house that includes several rooms.
In the central air conditioner, all the essential cooling components are enclosed in a single case, just like in the window air conditioner.
Two types of central air conditioner systems
Water-Cooled Condenser System
The condenser consists of a case and pipes. The coolant flows along the pipes and water with the case. The water has to be supplied continuously in these systems to maintain the functioning of the air conditioning system.
Air-Cooled Condenser System
This air handling unit comprises the centrifugal blower, and the air filter is located above the cooling coil. The centrifugal fan can handle a large volume of air needed for cooling several rooms. From the top of these air conditioners come tubes that extend to the different rooms that have to be cooled.
As we have seen, there are two types of central air conditioners, and these, in turn, have different cooling capacities. It is essential to consult a technician to recommend the cooling capacity of the air we need, and this depends on the area that we are going to cool.
