Pork in the oven or in the slow cooker?
Pork is delicious. There are two ways to prepare it: baked or cooked in a slow cooker. If you wait for visits and you want your pork to taste truly spectacular, prepare any of the following recipes.
Baked Pork
Ingredients:
3 cloves of garlic, chopped, 1 tablespoon dried rosemary, 1 kg of pork loin, boneless, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup of white wine, salt and pepper
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to approximately 175ºC. Process the cloves of garlic with the rosemary, in order to obtain a paste. Pierce the meat with a sharp knife and place the garlic mixture with rosemary there. To give even more flavour to this pork loin, wet the meat with what is left of the garlic paste with rosemary and olive oil. Place the meat in the oven. Cook until the pink color disappears from the center, which will take about 1 hour. Every so often, pour the juices that remain in the roasting pan over the meat. Remove the pork loin and place it on a plate.
Slow-Cooked Pork
Ingredients:
Pork meat
Sliced carrots
5 peeled potatoes
Three cubes of pork broth
Preparation:
Cut the potatoes into quarters. Place the pork roast in the pot. A meat of two to three pounds is the right size. Add the potatoes and carrots to the pot. Add the water. The water must reach the upper level inside the pot, it should cover the meat and most of the potatoes and carrots. Add the cubes of meat broth. Turn on the pot and cook 6 to 8 hours. Serve when the roast and vegetables are tender, soft and completely cooked.
