Tips to clean the oven
To begin with, we recommend that whenever you use the oven, try to do it by placing the food in trays or on special baking paper. In this way, the food remains form less fat on the trays or walls of the oven.
1. Lemon
An easy way to clean the oven is with a lemon. Cut it in half and squeeze it in a container that withstands high temperatures. Then put it in the oven and turn it on for 30 minutes at 390 degrees Fahrenheit. After this, it is easier to clean the embedded fat.
2. Salt
Another trick to clean the oven is using salt. Mix salt in water in a proportion 75% water and 25% salt and then, spray this mixture on the tray or walls. Let it act for about 20 minutes and then rub with a sponge or wet scrubbing pad.
3. Vinegar
You need a bottle of vinegar, a little water, a sponge and a soft cloth. First, clean the grids, the most difficult part where food and fat usually adhere the most. For this, put vinegar directly on a sponge (undiluted in water), and rub vigorously on all the grids. Soak the racks for about twenty minutes in a mixture of water and vinegar. This way you will be able to soften the remains of dirt that you have not been able to remove with the sponge.
4. Baking Soda
Mix a good amount of apple cider vinegar with baking soda and put into a spray bottle. Then spray the mixture through all the walls of the oven and program it at 120ºC for ten minutes. Then, let the oven cool down and remove the excess grease with a damp sponge.
