LG and the Samsung Family Hub presented their state-of-the-art refrigerators at the 2017 CES technology show in Las Vegas. Something completely revolutionary that astonishes even the youngest people.
These refrigerators are equipped with a glass panel, illuminating the interior when you give two touches, letting you see what’s inside without having to open the door. You can keep track of all the food inside the fridge, as well as the expiration dates.
The InstaView touchscreen features a measurement of 29 inches diagonally, and just by touching the screen twice, it becomes translucent, so you are able to see what is in the fridge. This is an advantage because it doesn´t let all the cold air escape.
The InstaView refrigerator from LG features some new changes. It doesn´t work with Windows anymore, now LG´s touchscreen runs its own operating system and works with Amazon’s digital assistant, Alexa.
What is Alexa?
It is a wireless echo-speaker created by Amazon. It´s an intelligent personal assistant that is capable of many tasks, such as search the web, music playback, making to-do lists, teaching history lessons, playing audiobooks, giving weather forecasts, and most important of all it can control smart devices like the InstaView Refrigerator.
